Dewey, Louise . . we must use these toys, please step back.
Dewey and Louise scampered back. Stulgott lingered ever higher in the air, his presence strengthening with every second passed. The toys gathered by Dewey and Louise began to float and morph into a sphere around Astalba.
Your divinity! What the Pandemeownium is going on?!
Something I haven’t seen in over a century. It is a devastating incantation which will drive back the couches’ advance, but will leave his divinity incredibly weak vulnerable for a time. I sure hope he has a plan for this.
The toys began to resemble Electrons orbiting a nucleus, and Astalba was no longer visible.
My word, this is worse than I remember.
Dewey! Louise! We must stand back!
Waves of toys began to tumble over top of each other in an indescribable display. Stulgott winced in anticipation. Astalba Exploded.
Stulgott staggered backward, as a tremendous wave of energy bashed against his being. The overwhelming pressure that he had brought was soon subsiding. A shockwave of technicolor energy shimmered throughout Litrinaht.
The three remaining cats on the battlefield directed their attention back towards their lord. He lay limp on the ground.
Your Divinity? Are you okay?
*euuahduduehhuhhhggh*
Your Divinity, please, I know that you must be weak right now, but we need you. What shall we do?
Shimo, you nag! Let me rest! I feel like I am about to puke so bad.
Ah, you forget you are our leader! The couches are on our doorstep! They may have been driven back for now, but you will not be able to detonate such a cruel bomb every time.
Uuggh . . . fine. I really don’t know what to do, though. These recent events are unforeseen. I have no clue how the couches have increased their conscious power in the recent months so drastically. What I do know is that I just blew them back a couple months with that explosion, so we need to find something out soon. I would suggest trying to run campaigns against the couches in the material realm, as I would assume the couches damn near took over the world with how powerful they were.
Okay. . . are you sure that you are safe?
I cannot be sure in times like these, but we cannot dilly-dally. The die has been cast, and action needs to be taken. Litrinaht rests on the three of you. May you carry this responsibility with pride.
